The hotel was unique in a way that appealed to us. Our room was huge, clean and comfortable. It had a small balcony. Each room looked like it would be different. The lobby, bar and dining area were like stepping back into another time. The dining room was pricey but looked good. Unfortunately they were too busy to accommodate us. Breakfast was very good. Walking around the small town was charming. We will stay here again if we get a chance.

We ate in the restaurant here the night we stayed. Staff were really great and food was really damn excellent. We had the halibut and the reindeer and it was really amazing. They had a local cider too which I really liked. Rooms are pretty nice. Bathroom is quite pokey but it's a nice room made in an old building so a bit typical of Norway. They have some nice blankets from Roros Tweed too a local company making these really nice blankets.

An amazing hotel. It was -36 Celsius and we felt warm and cozy! The staff were so nice and had our kids throwing hot water outside to freeze in the air! Make sure you eat in their restaurant as it is exceptional. It is right in the middle of town too. Would highly recommend, especially for a family of 6. We had our own little area of rooms so we didn't have to worry about being noisy!

Everything - starting from the location, the surrounds, the so friendly staff, the delicious food … we totally recommend going there. We loved sitting outside, having a coffee and feeling like being in the past ! We felt very warm welcomed every single moment, we got information about the village, the building and I recommend having dinner there : the fish is absolutely incredible!

We ate in the restaurant from a fine menu and needless to say the meals were first class. Last but not least were the staff who could not have been more helpful. Superb
